Elina has been dancing for 18 years. She is passionate about teaching and how dance changes peoples lives. Originally from Ufa, Russia, Elina started her dance career at age 4 with International Standard and Latin training. Winning multiple awards, Elina says that the highlight was the Runner-Up as a Junior Russian National Champion. After moving to the USA, Elina pursued her career in dance as a top instructor at Arthur Murray Lincolnshire Dance Center at age 16. She won multiple Arthur Murray competitions in American Smooth and Rhythm.
In 2020, Elina partnered up with Jimmy Mulligan and began her career as a Country dancer. After just 6 months in the circuit, Elina and Jimmy became 2020 Division 1 World Champions. Now they are UCWDC Master Competitors. In 2024, Elina teamed up with Sebastian Quinones, forming a dynamic partnership. Both hold world titles in line dancing and couple divisions, and they proudly represented country dance on the global stage as contestants on So You Think You Can Dance Season 18. In 2024 at the US Open Swing World Championship Elina and Sebastian won the Rising Star division. In 2025, Elina secured second-place finish at the Country World Championships. Beyond competition, Elina’s talent caught the attention of Hollywood, landing her a role as a ballroom fantasy dancer in Season 2 of 1923, set to air in 2025. Along with that, Elina is a multiple Arthur Murray Top-Teacher award winner. Elina is a certified instructor in a wide variety of dance styles: American Smooth and Rhythm, International Standard and Latin, Hustle, West Coast Swing, Country, Lindy, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Zouk, Cumbia, Argentine Tango, and Wedding Dances!
