This summer, we are hosting our 24th semi-annual Showcase performance on Sunday, June 6th. This is your chance to be in the show and make your dance dreams come true... whether you’re a beginning, intermediate, or advanced dancer. All proceeds benefit Lifeworks.

There are three ways to perform:

1. Spotlight Routines - Dance with your instructor or another student in a solo routine choreographed just for you.
2. Freestyle Routines - Demonstrate a dance style with your instructor or another student with other couples on the floor.
3. Team Routines - Join a group of fellow students to dance a specially choreographed routine as a team.

Spotlight Performances - SOLD OUT FOR SUMMER 2010

There’s nothing more challenging ~ or more rewarding ~ than doing a “Spotlight” performance. It’s just the two of you, in the spotlight, commanding the attention of the entire audience. You pick the music and dance a unique routine choreographed just for you.

If you’ve always dreamed of being on “Dancing with the Stars,” this is your chance to experience your dream. It will be your moment in the spotlight!

Spotlight routine slots are limited. For more information, or to reserve your spotlight ask your instructor to schedule a meeting for you with our showcase coordinator Khrysi.

Spotlight routine packages are custom designed for each individual and typically range from $1800 to $3000 depending on the complexity of the choreography and number of lessons included in the package.

Freestyle Performances for Summer 2010

Each Freestyle requires 4 couples enrolled to make. Freestyles in additional dances may be added, so if you have your heart set on doing a Freestyle not listed below let the front desk know and we'll see if we can make it happen!

• Foxtrot
• Argentine Tango

$195.00 performance fee per dance. (Payment plan available, $95 at enrollment, $50 at the beginning of April and May.) Private Lessons, Coaching Sessions and your costume are not included in the performance fee. A minimum of 8-12 Private Lessons and 1-2 Coaching Sessions are recommended to prepare for your Freestyle.

Team Performances for Summer 2010

Being on a showcase performance team can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Challenge your dancing skills, make new friends, and create memories that will last for a lifetime! Here are the teams we’re forming for our Summer 2010 Showcase:

WC Swing & Cha Cha Team
with Susan Kirklin and Taletha Jouzdani

Susan and Taletha are both known for their creative choreography and excellent teaching skills. Join them on a journey kicking your West Coast Swing and Cha Cha up a notch by participating in the fun filled performance team.  For dancers who have completed at least two months of level 2 group classes, or equivilant level.  Instructor approval required for enrollment.

10 two hour sessions Thursdays 8-10p beginning April 1st – June 3rd - Enrollment Deadline March 15th.
$450 per person. $100 deposit to reserve spot, custom payment plans available for balance.

Ladies Roaring 20’s Team
with Sherry Mundell

This one’s all about the girls! Join Sherry for for a trip back in time to the glamour of the 20’s. Dancing without a partner allows you to focus more on your own balance, control and styling, skills that will transfer to your favorite partner dances as well. For dancers who have completed at least two months of level one group classes, or have some previous dance experience.

10 one hour Sessions, Wednesdays 6p beginning Wednesday March 31st - Enrollment Deadline March 15th.
$280 per person. $100 deposit to reserve spot, custom payment plans available for balance.

Beginning Salsa Team
With David Abril and Jessica Nail

Our beginning Salsa team is a great introduction to learning choreography and performing. David and Jessica will incorporate sequences you can use in your social dancing as well as exciting new moves designed for performance. For dancers who have completed two months of level one salsa and are now taking level two group classes.

Teams have limited enrollment so sign up early! (Instructor approval required.) A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot by the enrollment deadline listed above. Payment plans are available for the balance of the team tuition. Please budget $100 for a costume. Black dance shoes required.

8  one hour sessions, Mondays 6pm beginning Monday April 12th - Enrollment Deadline April 1st.
$235 per person. $100 deposit to reserve spot, custom payment plans available for balance.
