Newcomer Night

Every Sunday is Newcomer Night at Go Dance. Join us for beginner classes at 6:30p followed by social dancing! Come on your own, bring a friend, or make it a date night with your sweetie! No experience or partner needed. $15 per person at the door. (Current students, bring a guest who has never been to Go Dance before, and you both get in FREE!)

Go Dance teaches all the most popular styles of social dancing as well as traditional Ballroom dances. The following is a brief description of a wide variety of dance styles we teach in our group classes and private lessons.

There are some styles of dance that are not listed, which are generally taught only in private lessons.

Here’s where you’ll learn the details on the technique, character, and styling of each dance. Also, since private dance lessons are customized to your individual style of learning, you’ll progress quickly.

Group Classes are a core component of your dance education and will provide a stepping stone to social dancing “in the wild.”

Group dance classes are fun and affordable
Group dance classes are a cost-effective way to develop your lead/follow skills and build your repertoire of patterns. Learning to dance with different partners and many couples on the floor will prepare you for success in any social dance environment.

Social Dancing is an integral part of your dance education. After all, practice makes perfect!

Practice social dancing in a safe environment
We provide social dance parties at Go Dance on a regular basis so you can practice what you’re learning in your dance classes in a comfortable social atmosphere with fellow students.

A combination of Group Classes, Private Lessons, and Social Dancing is the ideal way to approach your dance education.

Upcoming Workshops

Private group classes can be scheduled at Go Dance or at the location of your choice! One time classes are a great way to prepare for a special event, or to include a dance class at your event as a fun activity for your guests. Series of sessions can also be scheduled, and can focus on a specific dance or cover a variety of styles.

Now enrolling for Summer 2013 Camps! Our half-day camps for three different age groups will inspire a lifelong love of movement through dance while developing social skills and learning the history, culture, and etiquette that accompanies Ballroom and social dancing.
