Anyone interested in Lindy Hop, Blues dancing, and swing in general should check out the Houston Lindyfest this weekend. Starting on Thursday March 11th and going through Sunday, March 14th, Lindyfest will bring together hundreds of avid swing, blues and lindy dancers from around the country and will offer performances, workshops and social dancing. Go Dance's very own Dee Kalick will both be attending and recommends the event.

"Lindyfest is a weekend dedicated to improving your social dancing. The event has dances every night from Thursday to Sunday and also workshops all day Friday through Sunday." Dee says.  "Lindyfest brings in the best instructors from all over the world and even includes a tap dance track for Lindy Hop dancers. This is year 14 for Lindyfest and each year it gets better. This year I am so excited that 13 of our own students will be joining me in Houston for Lindyfest this year."
