  swing dance that was popular among the youth of the 1930's and 40's. Co
 llegiate Shag is a partner dance traditionally danced in the closed positi
 on\, similar to ballroom dances\, where the lead and follow face each othe
 r.  It's a 6-count dance that can be done on it's own or as a compliment 
 to your Lindy Hop or Swing.  The footwork and kicks are what make the dan

 \,sans-serif\; font-size: 13px\;'>We'll teach the basic step with a quick 
 turn and teach you how to transition into and out of Collegiate Shag with
