  swing dance that was popular among the youth of the 1930's and 40's.  
 Collegiate Shag is a partner dance traditionally danced in the closed posi
 tion\, similar to ballroom dances\, where the lead and follow face each ot
 her.  It's a 6-count dance that can be done on it's own or as a complimen
 t to your Lindy Hop or Swing.  The footwork and kicks are what make the d
