He continued his dance journey with classes in Ballroom and Country Western while studying at the University of Texas in Austin, where he acquired BAs in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics and French. Juan won many national and world titles competing in Country Western as an amateur and joined Go Dance in 2015.

“When you get a chance to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance!”

Juan loves that in dance you never stop learning and gets satisfaction from seeing his students progress in their dancing. Through teaching mathematics and foreign languages, Juan learned that there are many different learning styles and seeks to find the way each student best learns.
