James Heath is an Oklahoma native and a country boy at heart. He loves football, so you bet you can catch him rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. James prides himself on being a friendly, outgoing person and loves meeting new people. He enjoys getting to know his students and always has a refreshing, optimistic attitude.

James loved dancing from the very first Ballroom class he took in 2003. After performing with the class, he was hooked. He decided to enter the teaching world in 2008. Since James sings, dances, and loves performing, he always performs multiple routines in our Showcase. James is gifted at portraying a variety of fun characters on stage, and loves to bring the inner performer out in his students. If you're interested in doing a freestyle or spotlight, James is the perfect instructor to ask!

When I found dance to be such a joy in my life, I needed to share it with others who have the same passion. When I see someone enjoying themselves as much as I do when I dance, it makes my day.

As a licensed massage therapist with a background in personal training, James' knowledge about the body aids his expertise as an instructor. James believes that everyone can dance if given the proper instruction, and he makes sure there is never a confused face left at the end of his dance classes. James cares a great deal about his students, is easily approachable, and goes out of his way to make sure his students are always comfortable. Don't be surprised if you leave James' group classes grinning from ear to ear.

Dances Taught: Foxtrot, American Tango, Ballroom Waltz, Country Waltz, Nightclub, Polka, Triple Two Step, Two Step, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Jitterbug, and Argentine Tango.
