She began partner dancing in 1998 as a way to stay active during college, and has been dancing Lindy and Swing socially ever since! She became an instructor in 2002, joined Go Dance in 2008, and reunited with Go Dance in 2011. Sherry won 1st place in the 2005 Canadian Swing Championships, 1st place in the 2007 St. Louis Solo Blues Blues Shout, 1st place in the 2008 San Francisco Blues Blues Shout with partner Jon Chen, and 1st place in the 2008 San Francisco Solo Blues Blues Shout. Dance is my number one passion in life, and I want to spend most of my time dancing and sharing it with others.
Sherry approaches teaching with encouragement and a bright, fun attitude. She specializes in preparing her students for the social dance scene, so they are ready to show off their moves both in clubs and with live music.
