NEW LOCATION

We moved this past weekend and are now up and running in our new studio.  We are still located in Northcross Mall. Our entrance is on the north side of the Northcross Mall (Anderson Ln side) between Guitar Center and Wallpapers To Go, facing Schlotsky's.

WE'RE MOVING - FINALLY!

I was beginning to think this day would never come, but here we are.  We got the go-ahead from the landlords this week so the move is on!

All classes, lessons and parties will happen at the current studio through Friday March 7th. 

Beginning Saturday March 8th we will be in the new studio.  Yeah!

The entrance to the new studio is located on the north (Anderson Ln) side of Northcross mall between Guitar Center and Wallpapers to Go facing Schlotsky's.  Once you are through the entrance come down the hall and we will be on the left hand side.

THURSDAY SALSA SOCIALS CANCELLED

Thursday Salsa Socials are cancelled effective March 7th.  To get your Salsa dancing fix join us for our monthly Saturday Salsa Socials or our monthly Friday Latin Beginners night.

OUT DANCING

Go Dance is very proud to present our NEW Out Dancing Program for same sex dance partners.  To kick off the program, we are hosting a benefit for PROJECT TRANSITIONS, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving people with AIDS/HIV by providing quality hospice, housing and support in a compassionate and caring environment.  The party begins at 7:00pm and includes a FREE Salsa lesson at 7:30pm, followed by special dance performances AND a special Guest DJ will be mixing up tunes for social dancing until 10:30pm.

LET THERE BE LIGHT...

...And it was so good! 

As of today, our new studio finally has electricity.  That's right folks - lights, camera - Air Conditioning!  The staff here at Go Dance have all been (not so) patiently waiting to start teaching out of our bigger, better space, as I'm sure most of you have, and it looks like the wait is finally almost over!

We'll keep you posted here on our website, as well as by e-mails (if you subscribe to our mailing list) on the final expected move date into your, and our, brand new Go Dance Studio.

Thanks to everyone who has graciously helped with the floor and donated most valuable time to help us get into our new space - you are all appreciated more than you know.  Can't wait to see you all there!

NEW YEAR, NEW CLASSES, NEW STUDIO!!

We are pleased to report that the construction for the NEW Go Dance Studio is on track!  We look forward to our move at the end of January!  (For up-to-the minute news and pictures of our new space, visit http://godancestudio.blogspot.com/.)

YOGA FOR DANCERS

4:45-5:45 Tuesdays & Thursdays, Starting Jan. 8^th
Yoga is for everyone!  Yoga can help relieve stress, improve overall health and provide a sense of centeredness.  This class will focus on improving flexibility, overall strength, posture, balance and concentration.  If you are a dancer, these elements are fundamental to improving your overall dancing, however everyone can benefit.

4:45-5:45pm Mondays & Wednesdays, Starting Jan. 7^th 
Come burn off some of those holiday calories in this fun and energetic cardio class set to Latin music

REVITALIZE YOGA

GO DANCE MOVE UPDATE

Due to construction delays, the planned move to our new facility at the end of the year has been postponed to the end of january or so.

The GOOD NEWS is that we can now have a New Year's Eve Party!  So, if you are looking for a place where you can really dance on New Year's Eve, JOIN US!

CONGRATULATIONS GARY & SUSAN AND JAKE & TALETHA!

This weekend at the U.S. Open, Gary McIntyre & Susan Kirklin took 3rd place in the Showcase division against some amazing competition.  We couldn't be more proud!

In other exciting news, Jake Haning & Taletha Jouzdani, new to the competition swing circuit this year, made it to the finals in the Classic division at the U.S. Open this weekend as well.  This puts them in the same class as some of the best swing dancers in the country - quite a feat!  Be sure and tell them congratulations the next time you see them, they are kicking much butt out there!

RISING STAR CHAMPIONS!!

Gary McIntyre and Susan Kirklin won the Rising Star division at the Ohio Star Ball this weekend, one of the largest and most widely recognized Ballroom competitions in the United States.  This is an amazing accomplishment, and we look forward to watching them both continue to take over the dance world! 

We are so lucky to have such amazing talent right here in Austin, Texas at Go Dance - Good Luck at the U.S. Open Gary and Susan!
